Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at 10:46PM The Bee Team fall/winter rides will be the same time and place every weekend, excluding monthly event rides listed on the Ride Calendar page. If the temperature is below 40 degrees when the ride is to begin it will be a show and go ride. If rain is expected during the ride, it will be show and go. Bee Team show and go = those who show up make a plan and ride. Rides start from the Waxhaw Elementary School (1101 Old Providence Rd, Waxhaw, NC 28173off Providence Rd S.).
- Saturday mornings at 10:00am
- Sunday afternoons at 2:00pm
MILEAGE for both weekend rides is approx 25-35 with longer options available on Saturday rides, easy pace 15-17mph. NO DROP POLICY (i.e. Hill Climber will most likely be behind you, especially if Jack "The Dean" Nelson has designed the route!)
BEGINNER CYCLISTS! You are invited to come out and ride!!!! At 2:00pm on Sundays, we offer a separate ride that is a more relaxed, conversational pace with an average speed of 12-14mph for 15-20 miles. This is a great opportunity to meet other beginner cyclists and become more comfortable on your bike, riding in a group, adjusting to clipless pedals, etc. All you need is a road bike and helmet. We have a NO DROP policy, meaning someone will always be riding with you. Come out and ride with us!
Bee Team Saturday Morning 30 Miler

Bee Team Sunday Afternoon Leg Stretcher
Great recovery ride starting at 2:00pm.
Hey Bee Team,
Well, our Sunday rides are already drawing many, so we need to ride out on Sunday, based on your average speed, to help with the number of riders and traffic;
1st group 18+ mph, will leave first
2nd group 14-17mph, will leave second, approximately 5 minutes later
3rd group will be the beginners, 12-14 mph
Thank you for your cooperation,
Gary
